Senior Policy Analyst, New America

Alexandra (Ali) Simon is a Senior Policy Analyst at New America’s Center on Education & Labor, where she supports youth transitions from high school to postsecondary opportunities and careers. She contributes to technical assistance, research, and strategic communications for the Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA).

Previously, Simon led technical assistance for U.S. Department of Education and Labor initiatives at Manhattan Strategy Group and High Impact Partners, including the Youth Apprenticeship Readiness Grants. She began her career as a high school Spanish teacher and speech and debate coach.
