Beth Antunez

Director of Career Pathways Initiatives, AFT

Beth Antunez brings a rare combination of classroom experience and policy expertise to her role as Director of Career Pathways Initiatives at the American Federation of Teachers.

A former third-grade teacher in California, she has built a career around expanding opportunity for working people — now leading the AFT's external partnerships around career and technical education and driving the union's comprehensive career pathways strategy. She previously served as Deputy Director of Government Relations and Assistant Director in the Educational Issues Department. Beth holds degrees from UCLA and The George Washington University.
