Crystal Folger-Hawks serves as the Executive Director for Surry-Yadkin Works since 2021.

As Executive Director, Crystal collaborates with local businesses to implement pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships. She partners with Surry Community College to provide industry-recognized credentials for pre-apprentices and works directly with businesses in Surry and Yadkin counties to develop a well-prepared, highly engaged workforce. Beyond her work in Surry and Yadkin counties, Crystal mentors community colleges and school systems across North Carolina.
