Harini Venkatesh

Executive Director, Career Connected Learning NYC Public Schools

Harini Venkatesh is Executive Director of Career Connected Learning and Innovation at New York City Public Schools, where she leads the strategy and continuous improvement of a portfolio of more than 200 career-connected high schools.

Her work focuses on expanding economic mobility by integrating high-quality instruction, work-based learning, career advising, industry partnerships, and early college opportunities to prepare 100,000 students for strong postsecondary and career outcomes by 2030. Prior to NYCPS, Harini worked across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in the United States, England, and India. She holds graduate degrees from the University of Cambridge and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
