Lindsey Dowling is a Senior Learning & Development Representative at ArcelorMittal Calvert, where she leads workforce development initiatives focused on building the next generation of skilled talent.

She partners with two local community colleges to recruit, develop, and support maintenance and operations apprentices. Over the past six years, 40 students have successfully completed the apprenticeship program, with 36 transitioning into full-time roles at ArcelorMittal Calvert. Today, the program includes 24 apprentices who are simultaneously pursuing associate degrees while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the workplace.
