Ricardo is a Work-Based Learning Specialist at Education Service Center Region 13, where he partners with educators, employers and industry leaders to expand career-connected learning across Central Texas.

In 2024, he helped launch the first electrical youth apprenticeship partnership between Pflugerville ISD and Rosendin Electric. With more than 17 years in education as an English, business, journalism and multimedia teacher and athletics coach, Ricardo brings experience in student engagement, program leadership, grant writing and community partnerships. He is passionate about helping students discover meaningful career pathways and build the confidence, skills, and professional networks needed for long-term success.
