Sara Baese

Apprentice Learning & Development Advisor, Stadler

Sara Baese is a self-described lifelong learner whose career spans public accounting, workforce development, and apprenticeship education. A CPA and former Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, she has also led work-based learning initiatives within the Salt Lake City School District, helping connect students with meaningful career pathways and industry opportunities.

In 2026, Sara joined Stadler US as the Apprentice Learning and Development Advisor. In this role, she oversees the human resources and educational support functions for 36 Stadler apprentices, helping ensure successful apprenticeship experiences that foster both individual career growth and organizational workforce development. She also serves as a representative for Stadler US and the State of Utah on the Global CEMETS and US Advanced CEMETS teams, collaborating with national and international partners to advance high-quality apprenticeship and career and technical education models.

Sara is passionate about strengthening the connection between education and industry and creating sustainable pathways that prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.
