Sarah Oldmixon is an independent consultant who connects students and workers to good jobs and helps businesses attract, retain and grow talent.

Her recent work centers on apprenticeship and work-based learning, service-to-career pathways and credentials of value. She previously served as the Managing Director of the Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship at New America. Her earlier workforce development experience includes roles in research and evaluation, public policy and philanthropy. Sarah is a two-time graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor’s in American Studies and a Master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs. She is based in the metro DC region.
