Shanell Brumfield is Registered Apprenticeship Programs Director at Early Care & Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS).

She has extensive experience in technical assistance, capacity building, workforce development, and strategic systems alignment. With ECEPTS, Foundation for California Community Colleges, and YouthBuild USA, she advanced equity and access to education and work-based learning for youth and adults. She led a community of practice of workforce, education, and industry partners growing apprenticeship in nontraditional fields like early care and education. Devoted to livable, sustainable wages for all workers, she serves on the EEO Subcommittee of the California Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship.
