Tara Bell

Director of Advanced Academics and Career Pathways, Cherry Creek School District

Tara Bell is the Director of Advanced Academics and Career Pathways at Cherry Creek School District, where she oversees apprenticeships, internships, the Future Educator Pathway, AP, IB, and concurrent and dual enrollment. She leads district work on Colorado’s Big 3, helping students graduate with work-based learning, college credit, or an industry credential.

Tara has 28 years of experience in CTE. She began as a health science teacher, then served as a state specialist in Utah and a program director at the Colorado Community College System.

She is a past president of CACTE and coauthor of Body Structures and Functions. She holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and a B.S. in Biology Teacher Education from Weber State University.
